We do Scorecard assessments

The Victorian Residential Efficiency Scorecard is available to all householders in Victoria.

The Scorecard has been developed by the Victorian Government to help householders better understand the energy performance of their homes and to make informed choices about improving the quality of their living environment, while saving money on their gas and electricity bills. It provides a detailed star rating certificate showing the energy cost performance, hot weather performance and other major energy features of the home. Best of all, it gives guidance on your upgrade options and our assessor will tailor the advice for your situation.

All our assessors are Scorecard accredited by the Victorian government and can provide a wide range of services. Anything from helping you to reduce energy use in the home through to renovation and new home build guidance to make your home more comfortable and cheaper to run.

Home owners

James and Helen thought their energy bills were too high, especially since they already had solar. We found they were being charged too much by their retailer and their solar boosted hot water service needed repair and facilitated a tradie to fix it. They’ll save about $1800 a year, every year,  as a result.

Considering an addition or renovation? We can help you make it as energy efficient as possible.

Grace and Rod are considering a sunroom addition to their home to help with winter heating. We were able to advise on a range of upgrades to do first and also the types of glazing to consider for the extension and explain why.

New homes

Barry and Val were already knowledgable about zero bill homes and were planning a new one. They got a Scorecard assessment done on the plans prepared by their builder and were pleased with the 10 star result but were alerted to a potential problem with too much summer sun entering the windows. They can discuss the options with the builder and get the best solution right from the start.
